Scandic Hotel Kramer ReviewA top-to-bottom redesign has extended the shelf life of this long-time favorite. At the side of the town's main square, this château-style twin-towered building is one of Malmö's landmarks. Built in 1875, it's been renovated regularly since, including the construction of a modern wing in the mid-1980s. Most recently, the rooms were redecorated with an old-fashioned sense of nostalgia, which is vaguely reminiscent of staterooms on a pre-World War II ocean liner. Each has a marble bathroom with a tub/shower combination, dark paneling, curved walls, and kitschy 1930s-style accessories.
