The most charming of the modest hotels in the old quarter of Marbella, the Enriqueta is a classic example of Andalucían architecture, with its rooms arranged around a flower-filled central courtyard. Rooms 208 and 202 have balconies overlooking that courtyard. All the rooms have air-conditioning, but guests rarely turn it on because the thick-walled old building tends to stay quite cool. Rooms are very plain and very small, but the family that runs the hostal is warm and friendly. Stairs are steep and narrow, and there is no elevator. If climbing is a problem, request one of the four rooms on the ground level.
