Hotel Goldene Krone ReviewNext to the basilica is a well-managed, government-rated three-star hotel that was established as an inn in the 1300s. Rebuilt several times and renovated again in 1991, the Goldene Krone is in a substantial old Styrian house with stone trim. The interior has a contemporary bar area with decorative masonry. Rooms are a bit small, but they're well maintained and equipped with good, firm beds and small bathrooms. The restaurant, which serves Austrian national dishes along with Styrian specialties, is open to nonguests daily from 7am to 11pm.
