Of the two hotels listed in the Içmeler neighborhood, the Marti has the more spectacular location, nestled in the cleavage of two pine-covered mountains on a 115m-long (377-ft.) private beach. Built on the site of a 7th-century monastery (some of the ruins are visible out front), the all-inclusive Marti fronts an expansive playground of sand, lawns, and a duplex pool. All rooms have an outdoor entrance and a balcony, although only the deluxe rooms and suites have sea views. Two of the 208 standard rooms are designed for families wanting to spread out a bit into two rooms, rather than one. Villas are comprised of one or two bedrooms with mini-kitchens and a balcony or terrace, all with Jacuzzi (two are handicapped-accessible). The adjacent four-star Marti La Perla is slightly less deluxe and shares much of the amenities of its tonier sister, but the room rates are about 50€ cheaper.
