Frommer's Review
Owner Ali Bousfiha's Narwama has all the markings of a trendy restaurant. The former DJ pumps his own mix of world lounge music into the former UNESCO World Heritage building, which has a huge central courtyard and two adjoining salons swathed in hues of deep ochre and charcoal. Low-lying, candlelit tables with dark cushioned chairs surround a fountain of flames and water (the restaurant's name translates to "fire and water" in Arabic), and an attentive and attractive staff usher Thai, Moroccan, and Mediterranean dishes to locals and tourists alike. All three cuisines have equal importance in the kitchen, with specialty chefs for each (including two from Thailand). The menu is lengthy and includes almost 100 dishes. It's not cheap, but there's something for everyone, and the servings are filling without being oversize.
