It's a tough call, but this is the best patisserie in town. Bruno Maulion's little slice of heaven has been forging its way to the top of the pile since 2003, and although it's only one street back from avenue Mohammed V, only locals in the know seem to make their way here. Freshly baked cookies in glass jars sit atop a display full of delicious croissants and tarts -- both sweet and savory -- and a number of bright, colorful, and especially creamy gâteaux. There are a few tables and chairs both inside and out, so you can savor the taste of your chosen delight right there and then, washed down by a choice of coffees, teas, fresh juices, and milkshakes. There's a fair selection of ice cream flavors as well.
