This friendly gem is one of the cleanest and best values of all the budget hotels on or near rue Prince Moulay Rachid. It has three levels of rooms facing a traditional open-top central courtyard with potted palms and Moroccan lanterns. The rooms are of various configurations and offer good value options for single or group travelers. The rooms are all clean and bright, if at times a little stuffy, with carved-wood doors, modern tiling, wrought-iron furniture, and hand basins. Separate showers and toilets are located on each floor, though there are only three of each to service everybody, so either wake up early or sleep in. Five rooms are located on the roof terrace and come with individual air-conditioning, as they would otherwise be oppressively hot during the summer. Also on the terrace are some woven chairs, umbrellas, and mosaic tables for writing those postcards.
