Frommer's Review
Another very popular budget-traveler haunt, this hotel is down a quiet lane within a few minutes' stroll from Jemaa el Fna. Rooms of different sizes and configurations -- some with a private bathroom and air-conditioning -- are spread throughout two former mansions that are connected by a rooftop terrace. The German-Moroccan owners preside over their staff, who are renowned amongst former guests for their genuine friendliness. The breakfast (50dh/$6.25/£3.15) in the rooftop tent is just as warmly received, while the Sherazade's close proximity to the nearby mosque -- and its early morning muezzin -- sometimes isn't.
