Al Fassia is one of Marrakech's most famous restaurants (and a hard reservation to get) both for the quality of its food and for its staffing. You see, this is one of the few female owned and run establishments in the country, and the women here take real pride in keeping standards high and treating all who come through the door like honored guests.  Bring an enormous appetite because the portions are huge. We recommend the crisp pigeon pastille (likely the best in town) and the chicken tagine. However to try Al Fassia's specialty (and you have to do so), you need to order it 24 hours in advance, as it's a slow cooked lamb that may well be the tenderest, most savory piece of meat you'll ever consumer.

Note: Al Fassia has branched out, but you want to go to the original, at this address, for the best ambiance and food.
