This government-rated four-star hotel lacks the glamour and style of Le Petit Nice, but it is the highest-rated lodging in the city center. A glistening modern palace, it stands above the embankments of the old port. Some guest rooms have panoramic views of the Vieux Port; others look out on the boulevard. Rooms are up-to-date, comfortable, and furnished in Provençal style, with a combination tub/shower. All are fairly generous in size. This hotel and its corporate sibling, the Novotel Vieux Port , are in the same building and share a staff and dining facilities.
