This restaurant occupies an open-air pavilion across the road from the harbor, in an area of town known as "the tourist strip." Even if you eventually head into the high-raftered interior dining room, take time for a drink or two on the covered open-air deck, surrounded by vibrant Junkanoo colors and a crowd of local hipsters, yacht owners, marina workers, and businessmen visiting from other parts of The Bahamas. Lunch might consist of grilled fish sandwiches, burgers, salads, quiche, or the island's best pizza. Dinners are more elaborate, with 12-ounce New York strip steak, a flavorful shrimp kabob in teriyaki sauce, and zesty curried grouper filets. A happy hour with live music happens every Friday from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
