Frommer's Review
You can't get any closer to the ocean than the tables here, which are literally on the beach. With good food complementing this sensational setting, foodies and aesthetes have much to enjoy. The split-level dining starts near the entrance, with a long bar (where you can also order lunch or dinner) and a few tables along the railing. Steps lead down to the outdoor tables, where the award-winning seafood dishes come to you with the backdrop of Lanai across the channel. Favorites include the coconut macadamia-nut-crusted catch of the day or the pasta moana -- fresh fish with bay scallops, rock shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, roasted peppers, and snap peas in a lobster-Alfredo sauce served over orecchiette (the little ears) pasta. If you like seafood, sunsets, and touches of India and Indonesia in your fresh-from-the-sea dining choices, you should be happy here.
