Dining options are slim in Hana after 3pm, so you might find yourself hungry with nowhere else to eat. Owned and operated by Travaasa Hana, the Hana Ranch Restaurant is the informal, in-town alternative to the hotel’s dining room for lunch or dinner, serving casual fare (burgers, grilled sandwiches, fish tacos, ribs, etc.) for slightly more than you’d pay elsewhere on Maui; adjust your expectations accordingly and you’ll be satisfied. The service is friendly (if slow) and portions are large. Seating is at indoor tables or one of two outdoor pavilions that offer distant ocean views.
