Frommer's Review
Chef Elaine Rothermel has a winner with this tiny cafe in the industrial district of Wailuku. It may be slightly off the tourist path, but the creative cuisine coming out of the kitchen makes it well worth the effort to find this delicious eatery. Prices are so eye-popping cheap, you might find yourself wandering back here during your vacation. Lunches feature everything from grilled chicken with Thai sauce to fish tacos to hamburger steak to seared ahi sandwich with tempura eggplant. Dinner specials include chicken Marsala over noodles, crab cakes with papaya beurre blanc, tofu Napoleon with ginger basil sauce, and Hunan lamb chops. There are plenty of heart-healthy options from which to choose (low in sugar, salt, and fat).
