Frommer's Review
From the wok fountain sculpture out front to the billowing tentlike fabrics lining the walls, you feel like you have entered another, more exotic world. Each branch of this tiny regional chain has its own unique signature and decor. The feel at the Lahaina Cannery location is straight out of the Arabian Nights. The menu, with both small plates (so you can try a range of dishes) and larger portions, will have something for everyone, and the prices are easy on your wallet. Must-try items include the sweet corn fritters with chili soy dipping sauce, any of the many assortments of satays, green papaya-ginger salad, mango-mustard glazed spareribs, five-spice marinated duck breast (with sweet potato croquettes and plum wine sauce), and any of the five different kinds of naan (Indian flat bread). There's entertainment every evening from 4 to 6pm and live music on Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30pm. On Saturday the restaurant becomes the Feng Shui Lounge from 10pm to 2am, with music by a DJ (and sometimes a cover; call to check).
