Frommer's Review
This cozy, romantic, intimate cottage, hidden in Miliko Gulch, overlooks a stream with a waterfall, bamboo, sweet-smelling ginger, and banana trees. It's perfect for honeymooners, lovers, and fans of Hawaiiana art. The moment you step into this 400-square-foot, artistically decorated Hawaiian cottage (with additional 156-sq.-ft. screened deck), you will be delighted at the memorabilia (ukulele tile, canoe paddle, and the like) found throughout. The cottage has a full kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The comfy queen-size bed opens to the living area. The screened porch has a table, chairs, and a couch, perfect for curling up with a good book. Outside there's a barbecue, plus plenty of beach toys to borrow. Your hosts are Bob, a ceramics artist (with his creations on display throughout the cottage), and his wife, Sunny, who manages Dolphin Galleries (where she buys artwork for the cottage).
