Refined yet robust, the cuisine at Oceanwood is one of the Gulf Islands' best expressions of up-to-date, full-flavored cooking. The chef unites the rich bounty of Northwest fish, meat, game, and produce in a daily-changing tableau of impressive tastes and textures. Try the local paupiettes of sole with herb gnocchi and blackberry vinaigrette, or the grilled duck breast with cranberry demi glace served on foie gras-stuffed ravioli. The dining room overlooks a lily pond and garden; the decor is handsome but unfussy.
