Frommer's Review
This picture-book hotel in the heart of town offers the best value in Meersburg. There's an ornately decorated corner tower, purple wisteria covers most of the facade, and window boxes overflow with red geraniums. The hotel was built in 1605 on the foundations of a building from 1250 (the cellar of the original Bären is still here). Its small rooms are attractive, snug, and cozily furnished.
