Come for the view and the pastilla, and you won't be disappointed. On the edge of the medina, this restaurant has two floors with glorious uninterrupted views across the Oued Bou Fekrane valley to the ville nouvelle. The grand dining room has large picture windows affording all diners -- it can seat more than 100 -- a view. The rooftop terrace, however, is where you want to be, with tables shaded by umbrellas during the day; it's a simply stunning location to watch the sunset. The mainly Moroccan, very reasonably priced menu includes the regular line-up of grilled lamb and meat dishes, brochettes, and tagines, but it is the house specialty pastilla -- for once not overdry or too sweet -- that is highly recommended here.
