Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Menton has good rail and bus connections. Two trains per hour pull in from Nice (trip time: 35 min.; one-way fare: 4.40€), and two trains per hour arrive from Monte Carlo (trip time: 10 min.; 2€ one-way). For rail information and schedules, call tel. 36-35, or visit www.voyages-sncf.com. RCA (tel. 04-93-85-64-44) runs buses between Nice, Monte Carlo, and Menton, usually around two per hour; the round-trip fare from Nice is 4€.

Many visitors arrive by car on one of the corniche roads. The drive on N7 east from Nice takes 45 minutes.
