Frommer's Review
This government-rated hotel benefited from one of the most radical renovations in Menton. In the process, the hotel added three "Theme-decorated" suites, one of which is dedicated to Jean Cocteau, with many framed representations of his paintings, and amenities that include a small-scale fitness center. It sits on a palm-shaded avenue, just across from a beach, where it maintains a seasonal restaurant, open from May to September, and a scattering of parasols and chaise longues. Some of the public areas might remind you of a large living room. Guest rooms, each with contemporary furniture and vivid colors, have comfortable beds and balconies that overlook either the sea or the old town. Staff members here are particularly attentive and charming.
