Set directly beside Messina's largest and most verdant square, this well-known cafe was established in 1910. The marble bar serves coffee and drinks; the granita tastes especially wonderful on warm days; and the pastry shop is widely renowned for its almond-based Fiori di Mandorlo, its succulent Torta Letizia (made with almonds and vanilla), and a chocolate-covered version of almond paste known as Le Amarilde.
