The JW Marriott Mexico City might just be the opposite of the bustling metropolis that is its home. By which I mean, there's a serenity here that's rare. Guests can settle back in one of the hotel's quiet, spacious rooms, sinking in to the plush bedding, or relaxing in the large marble bathrooms. The outdoor pool tends to be quiet, too, though it's large enough for a lap swim workouts. The fitness center (which has fab city views) was recently renovated and provides state-of-the-art equipment for those who need to work off the stress of the city.  And though its located in the trendy Polanco area, with its many restaurants (and museums), those who choose to stay in for the meals or nightlife don't miss out. The lobby bar offers 100 varieties of tequila, along with a full bar menu; and the hotel's two restaurants, Pergamino Latin Flavors and Brasserie Lipp, are top-notch.
