The "queen of cantinas" as it is known, La México boasts three floors of nonstop tequila drinking, beer guzzling, music playing fun. A favorite among locals from all social classes, this authentic cantina offers live music Wednesday through Saturday nights, including salsa and traditional Mexican. Following their meals, or perhaps in the midst of them, patrons often take to dancing between tables. Simple Mexican fare is offered. La México is located in San Jerónimo, toward the south end of the city.
