JW Marriott Review

The JW Marriott is one of the city's most luxurious and expensive hotels, and a number of the city's most important visitors stay here. The refined marble lobby leads past world-class artwork and gorgeous flower displays to a dark-wood library and a piano lounge. The hotel is home to the Club Industriales business center, as well as La Griglia, a beautiful Mediterranean-Italian restaurant. Spacious, state-of-the-art guest rooms have panoramic city and park views, plush furnishings, and separate showers and tubs with spray jets. The full-service spa includes body and facial treatments, massages, a well-equipped fitness center, and a lovely outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. Executive-level rooms afford premium wines, gourmet food presentations, complimentary pressing and shoe shine, and free Wi-Fi. Impeccable service complements the elegant surroundings, within easy walking distance of Chapultepec Park and Avenida Presidente Masaryk. It's a short drive to the financial center.

Facilities:
2 restaurants; concierge; executive-level rooms; health club w/spa services and fitness center; Jacuzzi; piano lounge; outdoor pool; room service

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
