Frommer's Review
Despite the presence of the ubiquitous velvet ropes out front and the loud soundtrack inside, Touch is not a nightclub, although it does exude a cheesy Cirque du Soleil vibe with scantily clad acrobats and fire eaters. Located on busy Lincoln Road, Touch works hard to be something of a tropical supper club, complete with faux palm trees. The food is classified by talented chef Sean Brasel as "Modern Influenced Grill," which is basically a fancy term for expensive meat, fish, and chicken dishes. And while they're expensive, the dishes are quite good, especially the Kobe rib eye steak and the smoked margarita salmon cured in -- yep, Tequila! Despite the circuslike ambience inside, service is actually quite good. If the noise inside is too loud, and it often is, request a table outside, ensconced safely behind the ropes, where you can watch the passersby try to put their fingers on what, exactly, Touch portends to be.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
