The Shore Club Review
In the fickle world of hot hotels, the Shore Club struggles to hold on to its place at the top, but does okay thanks to Florida's only Nobu sushi restaurant and, on certain nights, a celebrity clientele that would fill up an entire issue of Us Weekly. Because this hotel is infinitely more cavernous than its hipster neighbors, the Delano and The Sagamore , some publicity-shy celebrities such as Janet Jackson and Denzel Washington have been known to call it their home away from home -- there are indeed places for them to hide. That said, this is hardly a quiet place for some silent reflection. In fact, during high seasons and spring break, it's party central. An outpost of L.A.'s celebrity-laden SkyBar reigns supreme, with a Marrakech-meets-Miami motif that stretches throughout the hotel's sprawling pool, patio, and garden areas. Beware of surly doormen if you're not a hotel guest. There's also a branch of L.A.'s -- and Robert De Niro's -- pricey pasta spot Ago. Rooms -- 80% of which have an ocean view -- are loaded with state-of-the-art amenities and, frankly, have a bit more personality than those at the Delano. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.

| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
