Frommer's Review
A contemporary inn run by two sisters who've named rooms after favorite sojourns and stocked them with souvenirs, this exceedingly friendly and very comfortable B&B has one exclusive advantage going for it: It is literally right across the street from the gate of the Vanderbilt mansion and just minutes from all the FDR attractions in Hyde Park (as well as the Culinary Institute of America). While the inn isn't old and decorated with period furniture, for many travelers that will be a blessing: Instead, it has new, excellent bathrooms, great big comfortable beds, central air-conditioning, and no creaky floors. The sisters, Diane and Michele, wow visitors with their gourmet breakfast creations in the breakfast wing (one is the baker, the other the cook).
