Frommer's Review
Café Lurcat makes its home in a restored urban building just off Loring Park. A hip crowd dines and passes the time here, perhaps before or after an event at the nearby Walker Art Center. A simple but stylish decor pairs beautifully with the restaurant's simple but sophisticated menu that includes apple, cheese, and chive salad; prime rib with béarnaise; and sea bass marinated in miso. The adjoining Bar Lurcat offers a variety of small plates, a 200-bottle wine list, and eclectic live music every evening ($5 cover on weekends).
