The red- and black-stone Moffat House is one of the town's most architecturally noteworthy buildings; it was constructed in 1751 by John Adam. This Best Western affiliate's modernized guest rooms are comfortable and functional, each with a tub/shower bathroom. A few rooms have four-poster beds. Some rooms are equipped for families, others for travelers with disabilities.
Note: The hotel offers a selection of the best food in town, especially at night, when the chef prepares an international menu.
