Getting There -- To reach all of the locations below by bus, take no. 806 to Mondello, leaving from Piazza Sturzo in the center of Palermo, close to Teatro Politeama. By car, take Viale Regina Margherita from the northern end of Parco della Favorita, going through the dreary suburb of Pallavicino beneath the western slope of Monte Pellegrino. On your way back, you can drive from Valdesi, at the southern tip of Mondello, along the Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo toward the heart of Palermo, going via the rock-strewn coastline at the foot of Monte Pellegrino.
