Frommer's Review
Set on a busy commercial boulevard in the center of Mondello, this charming hotel occupies a majestic villa built around 1890. Touches of stateliness remain, thanks to high ceilings, a walled-in garden, and a Liberty-era decor that's more or less authentic to the late 19th century. Rooms are small to medium in size, with vague references to the 19th century, tiled bathrooms with showers, and lots of cozy comfort. Those facing the street can be noisy, although air-conditioning and double layers of glass both help. Four of the rooms are in a comfortable annex that was originally conceived as a stable. The pleasant on-site restaurant has a glassed-in terrace.
