Frommer's Review
This three-story, cream-and-pale-green hotel sits at the top of a rocky bluff, across the seafronting boulevard from the sea, high above the surf, sand, and well-oiled bodies of Doctor's Cave Beach. A private elevator links the hotel's cliff-top site to a point near the beachfront. Surrounded by a landscaped garden into which are nestled both a swimming pool and a pair of tennis courts (lit for night play), the resort is well maintained and well priced. It's smack in the middle of Montego Bay's densest concentration of honky-tonk commercialism -- yet the location enables guests to rise above the congestion a bit. This hotel catches the trade winds, and most (but not all) of the rooms offer a sweeping view over the sea. Apartments contain full kitchenettes and have pure white ceramic floor tiles. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, though not the living rooms, which have ceiling fans instead; 32 larger two-bedroom units occupy the building's uppermost floor. Each unit comes with a midsize private bathroom with a shower. There's both a bar and a restaurant on the premises, although many of the guests opt to cook.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; pool; tennis court; limited room service; rooms for those w/limited mobility
