Several of the larger wineries around Montepulciano have rustic dining rooms, and this one is the most pleasant, because of the totally satisfying selection of grilled meats straight from the farm prepared to order and homemade pastas, and also because of the mesmerizing views of the rolling countryside and Montepulciano crowning its hilltop. Pici di Montepulciano, the local, thick, hand-rolled spaghetti, is topped with rich sauces, and anything you order is to be washed down with the estate’s Vino Nobile.
