RestaurantsIf I had all the money in the world, I'd still have lunch the same way every day in Monterey. I'd walk down Old Fisherman's Wharf and snack on all those small cups of fresh seafood at the numerous faux fish markets. Priced at a couple of bucks each, fresh mussels, octopus, shrimp, crab, oysters, ceviche, and clam chowder cost a fraction of what you'd pay at a restaurant. You can either eat on foot as you head down the wharf, or cart your cups to the benches at the end of the pier (to the left of Rappa's). Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.
