Frommer's Review
Casa Munras was built around the original hacienda of Don Esteban Munras, the last Spanish ambassador to California. Accommodations are scattered among 11 one- and two-story buildings along the 4 1/2-acre landscaped property. Each is decorated with pinewood furnishings and blue-and-white fabrics, and perks include Lather bath and body products and complimentary wireless Internet access. Tip: Spend a few extra bucks and get a deluxe room with a gas fireplace -- it gets chilly at night in Monterey.
