Frommer's Review
This Ritz-Carlton and its restaurants will be closed for most of 2009. Since it first opened its doors in 1912, the luxe hotel has been a favorite for both accommodations and dining, with its Café de Paris favored for high tea and Le Jardin du Ritz for its duck pond and ducklings. A 15-month, C$100-million (£50 million) renovation project started in June 2008 and is expected to run through October 2009. Check the hotel's website for updates about the reopening.
