Name aside, the club is down a few steps from the street. Big names are infrequent, but the jazz groups appearing every night are more than competent. Performances usually begin at 9pm. Decor is largely vintage record-album covers and fish tanks. Pretty good food ranges from bar snacks to more substantial meals, including table d'hôte offerings. Most patrons are edging toward their middle years or are already there.
