Frommer's Review
Starting life as a skating rink in 1884, the Metropolis is now a prime showplace for traveling rock groups, especially for bands on the way up or retracing their steps down. It has recently hosted Joss Stone, Ween, and Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood. While it is primarily a concert venue that can hold up to 2,300 customers, it is also home to a small attached lounge, Le Savoy.
