Ziggy's is the island's most elegant, upscale, and elaborate restaurant, though hard to find. Accessible after a drive along some of the most winding and shadowy roads on Montserrat, it lies within a traditionally designed house in the high and isolated altitudes above Mount Pleasant Woodlands. Menu items emerge in an idiosyncratic rhythm all their own, including green banana soup, butterfly shrimp, Scottish smoked salmon, sirloin steak, rack of lamb, and grilled sea bass.
