A colonial hotel that's not as striking as the Hotel de la Soledad, the Best Western should still be considered for its location -- across the street from the cathedral -- comfort, and price. The owners continue to invest money in improvements and upgrades. They've opened three new rooms on the top floor that are large, sunny, and comfortable. Most rooms are midsize and carpeted. They are, for the most part, more comfortable than the rooms at the Soledad. Some second-floor rooms in front have a balcony and view of the cathedral, but they can be noisy. Many rooms have two double beds or one double and one twin.
