The Old Coastguard ReviewThe best views in the area are to be enjoyed in this former lookout for the Coast Guard. It has been skillfully converted into a seacoast inn, serving some of the best food in the area. Guest rooms are split between the main building and the Lodge, a newer annex down the hill, and rooms are comparable in style and quality for both buildings. Picture windows look out on the bay in many rooms, all of which are decorated in a modern style with beech and pine furniture. The best units open onto sea views enjoyed from a private balcony or terrace. The on-site restaurant prides itself on fresh produce, especially fish brought into Newlyn Harbour.
