Frommer's Review
In a scenic location on a bluff above the harbor, the Western Isles is a large, gray-stone country inn. It was constructed by the Sandeman sherry company in 1883 as a hunting and fishing lodge for top-level staff and customers. The current owners welcome guests to homey rooms decorated in a mix of styles, with small bathrooms. The hotel has a conservatory bar as well as an upscale restaurant.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; room service; nonsmoking rooms
