This three-story motel, north of the town center and across from the beach, is more than just a motel. The fine landscaped grounds and Mediterranean-style building lend themselves to a pleasant stay. The former Caribbean motif has been replaced by more contemporary decor, investing heavily in colors such as hunter green with mauve and gold trim to evoke a rich look. Breakfast is the only meal served (you must walk across the street to the Caravelle Hotel), aside from an occasional Friday or Saturday dinner, depending on arbitrary factors such as the number of guests staying at the hotel. About one unit in three is an efficiency, and the rooms have one king-size bed or two double beds.
