"Clean and comfortable at a sensible price" is the appropriate motto at John and Ana Birch's family-operated establishment, which I have long found to be Nadi's best value, provided you don't need a restaurant on the premises. Quietly situated about 300 yards off the Queen's Road behind the Mercure Hotel Nadi, the Birch's spacious New Zealand-style motel consists of three two-story buildings flanking a nicely landscaped lawn with a rock-bordered pool. Units in the Orchid Wing are somewhat larger than the others and have queen-size beds instead of a double. Every unit has a kitchen and sofa bed.
