Nomads World, an Australian company specializing in accommodations and tours for backpackers and other budget-minded travelers, runs this sprawling, 11-acre property and has converted 13 of its units into air-conditioned dormitories, each with four or six bunk beds, private lockers (bring a lock), and its own bathroom. The Spartan "economy" motel rooms have no TVs, phones, or other such amenities, but the "superior" units in the main building and cottages still do. One cottage has cooking facilities. Imported sand forms a small faux beach by the swimming pool.
