Originally a motel with a gorgeous view of Nadi Bay from atop Vuda Point, Anchorage has been expanded to include a block of hotel rooms, a few duplex cottages, a massage bure, and a poolside restaurant and bar down by the lagoon. The resort has a bit of beach, and more white sand for sunning is held in place by a stone wall. The best views are from the original units atop the hill, but the spacious bungalows climbing the hill above the beach are the most luxurious accommodations here. The hotel rooms are rather typical except for their Jacuzzi tubs. The resort runs its own day trips from its marina to Beachcomber and Bounty island resorts. Note that trains hauling sugar cane run on narrow gauge tracks between the restaurant and hotel rooms during the harvest season from June through November.
