This is an old Danish kro that has been putting up wayfarers for more than 2 centuries. It has a steady stream of customers, often weekenders escaping the congestion of Copenhagen. In 2008, it was completely renovated, with an opening scheduled for some time in 2009. Even though it underwent extensive refurbishment, it remains a traditional country inn, but with a library lounge and an open-hearth fire, plus a small spa. Bedrooms are exceedingly comfortable and well furnished, but prices listed below are subject to change. Good Danish country cooking is still a feature in its on-site restaurant.
