Frommer's Review
A Japanese Inn Group member and family-owned for more than 50 years, this is a no-nonsense place. Customers are a mix of travelers, students, and during the week, Japanese businessmen. Tatami rooms are spotless and cozy, with more space and features than most other hotel rooms in this price category, including a closet. The men's public bathroom has a sauna, but the female bath doesn't and is smaller (female guests are fewer). The owners' son, who often clerks the front desk, speaks English well and is very helpful.
