Frommer's Review
Sofitel took over the former Century Hyatt in 2002, and though standards have not yet reached those of its Tokyo property, it has updated its look with contemporary yet comfortable furnishings and offers the same boutiquelike atmosphere and friendly service. Its location near Nagoya Station is also a huge plus. Standard rooms are fairly small, and since some face other buildings, ask for a room on a higher floor, where you might have an urban view. Deluxe rooms add space, larger windows, and sink and vanity areas separate from the bathrooms. In short, you won't go wrong staying here, especially at these prices.
Facilities:
2 restaurants (Continental, coffee shop); bar; 24-hr. room service; in-room massage; same-day laundry/dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms
